Job Description
How does a 4-day work week sound to you? How does 100% employer paid health benefits sound? If the answer is yes, we’ve got the opportunity for you. Our client is currently seeking 2 contract to hire associates for their manufacturing facility that is centrally located right here in Denver. Our client is one of the leading lighting companies here in Colorado that is experiencing dramatic growth. The hours for these positions are either Monday thru Thursday 6:00am. to 4:30pm, or Tuesday thru Friday 6:00am to 4:30pm.
The pay rate for these positions range between $20.00 - $23.00 per hour. Duties are but not limited to the following: Assembly of both standard and custom light fixtures using hand tools or machines. Some basic soldering of electrical terminals is required. Wire and install simple LED arrays into various fixture housings. The ability to be certified on forklift (optional). Operate pallet jacks and hand trucks. Conservation of resources by using equipment and supplies as needed to accomplish results. Maintain a clean and safe work area (including equipment and tools). The position does require the associate to manage multiple tasks simultaneously. Key skills are the ability to follow work instructions (English). Ability to work safely and independently. Ability to lift up to 35lbs – 50lbs on a rare occasion. Ability to stand for extended periods of time. Lunch is provided by the company every other Thursday. Lunch is 30 minutes with 2 – 15 minute breaks during the shift.
